John Fitzgerald Kennedy. In Loving Memory.

One of my friends used to work for a
comic magazine.

I took these pictures at his house.

They brought back memories of
being a very little girl and being jealous
of Caroline Kennedy.  She had tons
more toys!  She had her picture in
the newspaper!  And she HAD A PONY
NAMED MACARONI.

When her Daddy, President John F. Kennedy,
was killed on that horrible day in 1963, I
was 4 years old.  I thought it over.

"Well," I mused, "Caroline has a pony, but
I still have a Daddy."   I decided I would
rather have my Daddy.

I wish Caroline's Daddy hadn't been
killed.
