Please Help Spike Da Ladeez Man Save Guatemala Street Dogs!!!!!!!

Hello everybody.   Spike Da Ladeez Man spends most of his time texting his many girlfriends, but he has an urgent request for you.

P.S. He is now neutered and enjoys cuddling.

Several months ago, I entered Spike Da Ladeez Man in a competition to win Dog Of The Week on this blog.   It was mostly just for fun.  But now Spike has a mission.  He learned about a charity to help street dogs in Guatemala.  See this blog for details.  These wonderful people rescue abandoned street dogs in Guatemala, place them, offer spay and neuter clinics, and try to improve the lives of starving dogs left to roam the streets in an impoverished land where there is sometimes not enough food to feed people.    

Several weeks ago a volcano erupted near the homes of the workers, and things became desperate.  In the struggle to feed and save people whose houses were destroyed as the river overflowed dogs have had to take second place to saving humans who have lost everything.

If Spike wins, he will have a check for $65.00 sent to Hope For the Animals to save his fellow dogs.  While Spike reclines in comfort in his First World home and enjoys daily swims in the pool, his brothers and sisters roam the streets hoping for a meal and are often shot, sometimes for food.

Spike only has THIS week to win.  His eligibility ends on July 2, 2010.
